Handling of Personal Information at Our Stores and Franchise Corporations

The Group will make every effort to manage our customers' personal information appropriately, based on the privacy policy established by the Group and this document. In the case that there is any discrepancy between the privacy policy established by the Group & this document and the promises made by the Group to customers regarding the handling of personal information (including but not limited to contracts, terms and other written documents between the Group and customers), the promise made to customers will take precedence.

1.Purpose of acquisition and use of personal information
  Purpose of use of personal information in the Group is as follows. It will not be used for other purpose.
(1) To provide information on events and new businesses sponsored or co-sponsored by the Group by mail, telephone, e-mail, or other way.
(2) To collect information from customers by requesting market research (surveys) for the purpose of improving store management, merchandise purchasing trends, product development, store openings, and other research purpose.
(3) To provide various products and services handled by insurance companies. The Group is entrusted by insurance companies (non-life insurance companies, etc.) to provide insurance agency services.  For information of the insurance companies the Group entrusted with, please contact the respective stores.
(4) To confirm the validity of the account numbers of the financial institutions (banks, credit card companies, loan companies, etc.) and insurance companies (non-life insurance companies, etc.) and the validity of the credit cards when settling fees for merchandise and paid services.
(5) To provide information to business alliance partners involved in the campaign for the purpose of shipping winning products to customers who applied for the campaign, such as prize present project.
(6) To contact customers urgently in case of any inconvenience to the merchandise sold, any defect in merchandise installation, or any defect in maintenance that may cause damage to the life, body or property of the customers or other persons.
