We collect food and drinks for employee as a way to anticipate any large-scale disasters. Food is also prepared for the NPO Corporation Second Harvest Japan which provides food in emergency situations.
The donated food and beverages are delivered to those who need it most. This includes children in welfare facilities around the country, people who are forced to live on the streets, and families stricken by poverty.
We also stock canned bread as our emergency food and participate in the Kyu-Can-Cho Project. This project helps to collect goods before their expiration date and use this food as a contribution. The recovered canned bread is delivered to people suffering from world hunger.
We will continue these initiatives within our organization so that we may support other organizations, solve food disposal problems and fight against environmental problems.
In order for our company to be a space where employees can think about their social contributions and participate in initiatives within the company, we have introduced donation-type vending machines. They can be found whether at the headquarters (in Koto-ku, Tokyo) or at our offices in Osaka (Kita-ku, Osaka), Fukuoka (Hakata City, Fukuoka Prefecture) or at A PIT AUTOBACS SHINONOME.
