AUTOBACS SEVEN Co., Ltd. (Representative Director & Chief Executive Officer: Yugo Horii) will renew part of the point benefits under the AUTOBACS membership program from October 2026 and will newly introduce “Car Birthday Points.”

 

In recent years, against the backdrop of rising vehicle prices and inflation, the average age of vehicles has been increasing year by year*. As a result, the importance of regular inspections and maintenance to maintain safety and performance is further increasing. On the other hand, stores have received feedback such as “It is difficult to understand the appropriate timing for inspections” and “I am busy and tend to put off maintenance,” and establishing a system that allows customers to continuously stay aware of the condition of their vehicles has become an issue.

In light of these issues, the Company reviewed its benefit structure to make it easier for customers to have opportunities to engage with their vehicles, shifting to a vehicle-centered benefit system.

As part of this, the “Birthday Month Points” and “Rank Keep Points” benefits will end in September 2026, and “Car Birthday Points” will be newly introduced from October of the same year.

■About the New Benefit “Car Birthday Points”
This benefit defines the vehicle inspection expiration date as the “Car Birthday” and is a new membership benefit that enables customers to be aware of the condition of their vehicles and carry out planned maintenance more easily.

＜Benefit Overview＞

• Car Birthday: Set with the vehicle inspection expiration date as the reference date, and points are granted annually based on the same date
• Timing of Grant: Granted every year at the beginning of the month approximately 2 months before the above reference date
• Details of Grant: Up to 2,000 points per year depending on membership rank (AUTOBACS limited V Points)
• Validity Period: Approximately 3 months from the date of grant
• Eligible Customers: Those who meet all of the following 3 conditions as of the end of the month 3 months before the Car Birthday

  ・A vehicle with a registered “vehicle inspection expiration date” in the membership information
  ・Double registration of a card that accumulates V Points
  ・Last visit to AUTOBACS within 1 year

 

Granted points can be used at AUTOBACS Group stores nationwide for inspection and maintenance services and for the purchase of automotive goods.
By granting points in accordance with an easy-to-understand milestone based on the vehicle inspection expiration date, we aim to make it easier for customers to be aware of the condition of their vehicles and to lead to the implementation of planned inspections and maintenance.
