VEEMO Inc. (Representative Director: Reo Yoneyama), a wholly owned subsidiary of AUTOBACS SEVEN Co., Ltd. (Representative Director & Chief Executive Officer: Yugo Horii), will conduct a demonstration experiment of “VEEMO Parking,” a parking space reservation service utilizing the “VEEMO” smartphone parking search application, at the Hibiya Parking Lot operated by East Nippon Expressway Company Limited (hereinafter “NEXCO EAST Japan”), from September 7, 2026 (Monday) through October 26, 2026 (Monday).

Key Points!

■ Launch of a demonstration experiment for “VEEMO Parking” at the Hibiya Parking Lot operated by NEXCO EAST Japan
■ Creation of a new parking experience by combining advance parking space reservations with vehicle license plate recognition
■ Verification of user needs and operational challenges to support the social implementation of parking lot services

This demonstration experiment was initiated following VEEMO’s selection for NEXCO EAST Japan’s open innovation program, “DraPla Innovation Lab Phase V.” Through this initiative, the two companies will verify the effectiveness of a parking space reservation service and identify operational challenges in creating a new customer experience for parking lot users.

In urban parking facilities, challenges include the time required to search for available parking spaces and the effective utilization of spaces designed for specific needs, such as EV charging spaces. By combining advance reservations through the VEEMO app with vehicle license plate recognition, this demonstration experiment aims to enable smooth access to reserved parking spaces.

Through this demonstration experiment, VEEMO will verify user needs and operational issues, providing a more comfortable and convenient parking experience while supporting the social implementation of parking space reservation services.
