We would like to express our heartfelt sympathies to all those affected by the August 2026 Chiba heavy rain disaster. 

AUTOBACS SEVEN Co., Ltd. (Representative Director & Chief Executive Officer: Yugo Horii) donated five vehicles to the Japan Car Sharing Association (Representative Director: Takehiko Yoshizawa; hereinafter referred to as the “Japan Car Sharing Association”), a general incorporated association that provides vehicles free of charge during disasters, on September 19, 2026, to support the rebuilding of the lives of those affected by the disaster.

　

Believing that automobiles can play a significant role in helping disaster-affected communities take the first step toward rebuilding their lives, the Company has continuously undertaken initiatives that contribute to maintaining lifelines through “car-based disaster support,” including providing vehicles and offering free inspections and maintenance for loaned vehicles at AUTOBACS Group stores during disasters. 
 

In July 2021, the Company entered into a Vehicle Support Agreement for Disaster Response with the Japan Car Sharing Association and also participates in the Mobility Resilience Alliance*. In addition, to help establish a framework that enables rapid response when disasters occur, the Company has been donating vehicles during normal times since fiscal year 2023. Most recently, it donated eight vehicles in July 2026. 

 

*The Mobility Resilience Alliance is a disaster-support network of companies and local governments coordinated by the Japan Car Sharing Association. Participating companies and organizations work together to rapidly deliver vehicles to disaster-affected areas when disasters occur, supporting the recovery of daily life for those affected. “Mobility Resilience” refers to the ability to recover from difficult situations caused by the loss of access to a vehicle.
